Impressions
Impressions is a highly dynamic recitation and simultaneous improvisation of different narratives within my work. The form of its presentation is based on the structure of stage magic, puppetry, and physical comedy. It is a performance for a single performer, and is never performed the same way twice. The work seeks a space where my objects, personas, songs, and ideas can be blurred impressionistically into new narratives and situations. Currently, Impressions features excerpts and reinterpretations from I SO SORE FOR EVER THING, After the Rise and Fall of Teenager, Return to FOREVERHOUSE, Head Theater, MAYBE ISN'T ANYTHING, and components of works that have yet to be released.
